Agriculture
Our farm has been run for generations in Oberpfreimd, nestled in the idyllic Pfreimdtal valley. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1412. The church of St. Martin next door dates back to the 2nd half of the 18th century. Aerial view of Oberpfreimd.
In 2010, we converted the farm to organic farming out of conviction. We are a member of the Organic circle and meet the demanding standards. The newly planted meadow orchard, with around 100 old fruit trees, provides the farm's own bees and of course all other insects with a rich supply of nectar and pollen.
Our philosophy is to preserve and protect the “old”. That is why we are a member of the GEH (Society for the Conservation of Old Domestic Turf). Here you can get to know geese of the Bavarian goose breed, the alpine stone sheep and the Thuringian forest goat. Sustainable agriculture is our goal. The careful use of soil and water resources is very important to us.
